I did this a few weeks ago. One of those weekends I was actually out of town. Not far away, Asbury Park, NJ. I was asked to hang out and paint at the Visionary Tattoo and Art Festival. Free room and food! Plus I was friends with Jon Lane, the promoter. I also got to meet The Enigma, and hang out more with Chet Zar. Great weekend! And the New York Observer called. I did sketches at the convention and started painting the final when I got home on Monday for the Tuesday deadline.
