Doing animals is fun. This was about the flat tax that a bunch of Republicans are proposing. The editors wanted this idea. They wanted it clear that they were flattening the road and it should be a black top road. As I painted, I thought of what else the roller could be flattening. We work for peanuts. The roller could be rolling over peanuts and making peanut butter. Of course then I have the design problem of a brown and gray cover.
