New projects in the works. Right now they are in "Ambiguous Cloud" form. It's hard to explain things that haven't gelled yet. Of course I could just describe a clouds and the organic shapes they take and be just about as accurate. They will involve drawing. They will probably involve painting, they will definitely involve coffee. For now, here is the past week's plus today's presidential hopefuls. Martin O'malley. Sunday's hopeful. Mr Donald Trump again. Terry Jones. First shot. Terry Jones, second interpretation. Jim Webb. Chris Christie.
What can you say about these guys? Presidential hopefuls this early in the election process are all over the place. We have two parties in America and the amusing thing for me is to watch people try to defend their candidate to the erosion of all credibility. You can't trust a pundit any farther than you can levitate one with your mind. They can't admit their candidate's flaws publicly and therefore cannot tell the truth. We can not discuss the truth in public. The truth is our society is too large and complex to have just two parties. The narrative I've heard on talk shows seems to be don't waste your vote on a candidate who isn't a democrat or republican. I think this is absurd. It's brainwashing. Don't think for yourself and learn to just "settle" with the candidates you are given. I think the greatest revolution would be for everyone to vote for who they think would do a good job and we get who we get. Unfortunately you don't get enough votes unless you have a lot of money to get your name out there. No one seems interested in fixing this problem so we get another Bush or another Clinton or another Bush... Until then, I will be the family portrait artist to the American aristocrats.
